For about 5 minutes I was searching for my phone cause I misplaced it. To demonstrate why I felt like an idiot, my phone is the one on the left of the image. (not my actual phone, just a pic I found on Google)
How I misplaced it when it’s that large, I really don’t know. Maybe Kinja?

Did you at least turn on the flashlight on the phone to help look for it?

Well I don’t want to sound mean but…
If I had turned on the flashlight on the phone that would have meant I found it already.

Did you try restarting it?

No…??

Well then you’re not that big of an idiot.
I also stop looking when I find something.

Tip: It’s always in the last place you look.

It was right in front of me the whole time, but because I had a dark case I didn’t see it.

I did that once. Don't worry.

Don’t fret. I forgot what it was, but once I was frantically looking for something that I was holding in my hand.

That’s because you don’t keep looking after you find it.

Looking for something in your hand that you thought you lost happens way more than it should.

Exactly!
